Angelica received her Bachelor’s Degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Minor in Urban and Regional Planning. Along with a few of her peers, she joined the XIII Congreso Nacional de Arquitectura de Paisaje in Mexicali, Baja California, where her team’s design made it to the top three of a competition for a Restoration as a driver of natural and cultural systemic processes in the landscape. She has over 4 years of professional experience working for an Architecture Firm designing commercial, residential and mix-use spaces in the Coachella Valley. Her passion for Landscape Architecture grew with her involvement in community engagement for elementary kids, advocating for green school design and underserved communities in the Los Angeles Region. As a native San Diegan she cares about creating spaces that will strengthen our society by developing physically, socially and emotionally through design. In her free time, she enjoys biking, camping and exploring natural spaces.
