A Sneak Peak at Joan and Irwin Jacobs Performing Arts Center
SDG senior project manager Devon Boutte captured these shots highlighting the unique, playful paving defining the patio of the Joan and Irwin Jacobs Performing Arts Center during a recent site visit and punch walk.
In the final stages of construction and opening soon, the 40,000-square-foot adaptive re-use project honors the historic Building 178, a piece of Liberty Station’s legacy as San Diego’s Naval Training Center. The center, which features a proscenium theater, a studio theater, flexible rehearsal-event space, and a large outdoor plaza, will breathe new life and artistry into San Diego’s Liberty Station!
