Children’s Park

The renovation of this 1 acre park near the Children’s Museum in downtown San Diego will provide a more usable open-space area for public use. The park currently features a large pond with a fountain originally designed by Peter Walker, which is bifurcated by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Promenade as it passes through the park. Schmidt Design Group, Inc. is currently providing design development services to create a park that will pay respect to the original design as well as provide an innovative, functional, and economical open-space for public use.
