Garden Passage

The Schmidt Design Group, Inc. created this temporary exhibit for the annual San Diego Spring Home/Garden Show at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Its theme was to highlight the importance of gardens and their effect on our quality of life. Visitors walked through a harshly bright and narrow corridor on white gravel before entering the attractive, soothing garden setting in the circular interior. At the end of the journey was an interactive element: a wall with crayons for visitors to finish the sentence “My Garden is…” to incorporate each person’s experience.
