Designed in collaboration with Artist's TJ Dixon and Jim Nelson, this memorial has been designed to honor all veterans. Funds are currently being raised for the memorial which will include a stone wall of remembrance where families will be able to memorialize their loved ones with etchings, a star-shaped reflecting pond honoring the five branches of the armed services, a symbolic “persevering Oak tree”, benches, and quotes of courage and honor etched into the paving.

This three-acre park was created as a healing environment for those in need of reflection, nurturing, and rehabilitation. At the center of the park is a small created wetland that harvests (collects) water from throughout the site through decorative dry creek beds and drainage channels. Phase one is complete and includes open space, wetland, drainage channels, picnic areas, playground area and restroom building. Consultant team included artists/architects James and Drew Hubbell.

Designed by the Schmidt Design Group, Inc. in collaboration with Aesthetics Inc., this garden is a place for reflection, conference and healing. Rich materials highlight a series of individual sanctuary spaces for meditation and reflection. The garden utilizes water features, a labyrinth, landscaping and commissioned artwork to reflect the needs of the patients at each step of their recovery.

This therapeutic garden was designed for Sharp Mesa Vista Psychiatric Hospital in San Diego, California. Elements included in the garden are: water fountain and koi pond, sitting areas for small gatherings, ornamental walls, lush plantings, and an elaborate labyrinth. Services included: Design Development, Construction Drawings and Construction Administration services.
